BCHS Return to Level II & Half PD Day Announcement
Good evening, this is Gary Haverfield, Superintendent at Beaverhead County High School with an important announcements regarding our Return to Level II Instruction and our next Professional Development half day for staff.
Return to Level II Instruction:
The Beaverhead County High Board of Trustees at the regular February 8th Board meeting voted unanimously to return to Level II instruction immediately.
What this will mean for our students:
- All students will return for in person instruction five days a week, Monday through Friday
- This will begin immediately this week, February 8-12
- The only exception is the fully Opt-out students
- All Friday’s including this week February 12 will be a full day of school for all students
Once Again, all students will come to school for in person instruction Monday – Friday starting this week
The only exception are those full time Opt-Out students.
As indicated on our school calendar Wednesday, February 10 is scheduled for one of our professional development half days for staff.
This PD day on February 10, which is a half day in the afternoon, will mean the following for parents & students
- Students will attend school on Wednesday February 10th in the morning and will be dismissed at 11:55 for the remainder of the day
- Students will not attend school on Wednesday February 10th in the afternoon
- Staff & Administrators will be participating in Professional Development from 12:30 – 3:30
- The office will remain open all day
- The Elementary District also has a half PD day on the 10th which means all busses will run their routes at noon.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call the office at 683-2361 between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm. Again, all busses will run their routes at noon on Wednesday February 10.
