Student Illness Announcement

Good evening, this is Gary Haverfield, Superintendent at Beaverhead County High School with an important announcement regarding student illnesses at Beaverhead County High School.

Now that we have been back in school for a few weeks we are beginning to see multiple students experiencing illnesses.  Many students have stayed home ill, many students have been sent home because they are ill.

I want to take this opportunity to remind students and parents of our expectations regarding students experiencing signs and symptoms of illness and attending school.

• Students who are sick need to stay at home and not attend school
• If students have signs and symptoms while at school, they will be sent home and are to stay at home until they are symptom free for 24 hours, without medication

COVID-19 Signs/Symptoms

If students are experiencing any of the COVID-19 Signs & symptoms, such as:

Cough, Shortness of Breath, Difficulty breathing, fever/chills, Muscle/Body aches, Vomiting, Diarrhea, new loss of taste or smell

1. Students are to stay at home until they are symptom free
2. We strongly encourage parents to have their child tested for COVID-19

I want to personally thank all parents and students for their cooperation and assistance as we work through the start of the cold and flu season, as well as the COVID -19 pandemic

Just a reminder all ROBO call transcripts are posted to our website at www.bchsmt.com and please look under the NEWS tab for this transcript

Thank you and have a Great Evening!!
