State of Mind's dynamic group of artists from the University of Montana’s Co-Lab for Civic Imagination and Montana Repertory Theatre tackle Montana’s ongoing mental health crisis through cultural imagination—engaging audiences, sparking creativity, and amplifying the voices and stories of local communities. The free performance is interactive, engaging, thought-provoking, and fun. State of Mind seeks to "make it ok to talk about mental health" by inspiring understanding and sparking transformative conversations that have made SoM a catalyst for reimagining mental health in Montana.
State of Mind Project Director Michael Rohd "is a theater-maker who has spent 35 years leading process and facilitating conversation around complex public issues across the nation, as well as supporting and training arts, municipal and non-profit staff in designing effective community programs, convenings and public engagement work."
