Spanish Classes

Good evening, this is Gary Haverfield, Superintendent at BCHS. I am sending you this ROBO call to contact those students and parents who are enrolled in a Spanish class this school year. Again, this ROBO call is for those students and parents of the students who are enrolled in a Spanish course.
Spanish Course Information:
- The Board of Trustees hired a Spanish teacher, unfortunately on Tuesday that person informed us that they are not able to accept the position
- Therefore, at this point we do not have an instructor in place for our Spanish classes
- We are actively working to find a Spanish instructor, but need some information from you, the parents and students, especially if we are not successful in finding a teacher
- Beside cancelling the Spanish classes for at least the 1st semester our only other option is to provide the opportunity for the students to take Spanish online through Montana Digital Academy
- These classes would be taken in person at BCHS, with a proctor/supervisor in the classroom and the students would be working on one of our devices taking their Spanish course online
Here is what we need to know from the students and parents is the following:
If we are unable to find an in-person teacher, are you interested in taking the Spanish class online through Montana Digital Academy in person at BCHS?
Place call Mrs. Ferris @ 683-2361 and let her know either way,
Yes, you are interested in taking class through MTDA
No, if we do not find an in-person teacher you are not interested in taking this class online
Please notify Mr. Ferris by Friday August 20 by noon so we can make a final decision regarding this year’s Spanish classes. Thank you!! We really appreciate and need your input as we look make a decision regarding this years’ Spanish curriculum.
