Good evening, this is Gary Haverfield, Superintendent at BCHS. I am sending you this ROBO call regarding the protocol we have established for students to clear out their PE and/or athletic lockers at the BW Lodge.
As you are aware the school will remain closed for instruction for the remainder of the year. We are now starting the process to finish Phase three of our School Improvement Plan which is the renovation of the BW Lodge.
As we prepare for the work in the lockers rooms at the BW Lodge we must get all student belongings out of the locker rooms at the facility. Therefore, we are opening up the BW Lodge locker rooms for students on Tuesday May 12 and Wednesday May 13 from 8:00 – 10:00 am and 1:00 – 3:00 pm both days for students to come to the BW Lodge and clear out their PE and/or athletic lockers.
Just a couple reminders to parents and students if you need to come to the facility to retrieve your personal belongings:
- All students will be required to wear a face mask or some other form of other face covering
- We will have some staff present and available to assist students with this process
- Gloves will be available for use when entering the facility
- We ask that all students that need to come to the BW Lodge, please enter through the parking lot doors and we will have a staff member present to monitor that door
- We remind all students to please follow social distancing guidelines, both outside prior to entering the facility and also while inside the facility
After Wednesday at 3:00 pm our staff will clean out all remaining lockers that have items left in them. All personal belongings not picked up on these two days will be placed in our school lost and found.
Students, if you have items in your PE or athletic locker please make time to Tuesday and Wednesday to come get your personal items. Again from 8:00 -10:00 am & 1:00 – 3:00 pm
