Dear parents,

As we enter the 2020-21 school year we find many challenges that we are trying to overcome. The transportation department’s top priority is your child’s safety. At this time the transportation is at Level 2 and the following guidelines have been put in place to ensure your child safety.

Buses have a limited capacity of 14 seats

Individual students will sit ONE per seat with Siblings/Same Household families sitting together

Masks will be required due to closed and confined space

Drivers have contacted families that will be eligible to ride

Due to these constraints alternative transportation has been suspended. Examples of alternative include after school programs like YMCA, Dance, Girl/Boy Scouts, and daycare. Also at this time transportation to gatherings are also suspended, prime examples are birthday parties, sleep overs, or going to another students house.

The students that are currently assigned to a bus will be the only students allowed to ride the bus. Please do not send a note with your child to ride a bus that they are not assigned to as they are not eligible to ride that bus.

We understand the difficult impact that Covid-19 has had on the community but our goal is to provide safe transportation to as many students as we are allowed to have on a bus and keep your children safe. The only way that we can achieve this is by working together to keep the buses and the school open and we appreciate your cooperation during this difficult time
