County Fair Information

FFA Livestock Members:

Below you will find the livestock guidelines/media release as one of the requirements needed and required by the August 17th deadline. If you need a paper copy, please stop by the Extension office. This document requires signatures please. Because of the logistics of the show and sale, the media release must be signed. If parents/guardians do not sign, members will not be able to show or sell.

August 17th deadline for livestock members:

  • Project Drop Deadline
  • Livestock registrations
  • Livestock Guidelines
  • Beef weigh-in activity
  • Livestock Quality Assurance activity
  • Livestock Record books – up to date! This includes project journal and financials.
  • Livestock Photos

If you happen to have 4-H building projects, those entries are due August 17th as well.

After the beef and lamb shows on Thursday, members have the option to take their steer or lamb home or deliver them to Tolman feedlot that day. Members must notify the barn superintendent their decision at weigh-in. If you choose to take your animal home, you will be required to deliver you animal to Tolman Feedlot with the following schedule:

Steers need to be returned on Sunday by 5 pm

Lambs need to be returned on Tuesday by 5 pm
