Hi Parents and Students, I'd like to update you on my availability. Before the Covid crisis locked down travel, I flew to Missouri to attend to my parents in critical health conditions. My mom had broken her arm and my dad was in the hospital with rapid onset dementia. I was able to manage my parents affairs, place my father in a care facility ,and begin the trip back with my mother. My father passed while we were in route to Montana. We are now in Dillon but under a strict 14 day quarantine. I am working exclusively from home. You can reach me using my email firstname.lastname@example.org or you can leave a message on my office phone 406-603-2361 ext 119. I will continue to work with students (signing documents and accepting scholarship applications) using the paper exchange system at the school. I am updating posts on the BCHS Counseling pages concerning scholarship deadline dates, ACT/ SAT information, MTDA, and college admission information. Please check the BCHS Counseling pages for updates and information. I will post to the live feed when new information becomes available. We can get through this and please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns or if you just need to talk. Stay strong and stay put!! Your BCHS Counselor Ms Perisho

Hi I’m Carol Perisho, your new school counselor. I am originally from Missouri. I graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia ( GO TIGERS!!!) with an Animal Science degree. I took some time off to raise my two boys on a family farm near the small town of Conway, Missouri. ! My two boys have graduated college. My oldest, Josiah, from the University of Missouri Science and Technology and my youngest, Nathan, from the Naval Academy. Josiah lives in Oklahoma City as a computer engineer. Nathan is a Nuclear engineer officer on the USS Missouri Submarine, stationed in Honolulu Hawaii. I went back to school to get my Masters in Counseling at Missouri State University. I was a K-12 counselor before moving to Helena Montana to work at Capital High School in 2011. I moved to Shelby in 2016 and was the 7-12 counselor for two years. Shelby High School is a wonderful school and I really enjoyed being there. I made a trip to Dillon for the College Rodeo Banquet and I was so impressed with Dillon that I jumped at the chance to work in this amazing town with this great school. I am looking forward to meeting all the students and getting to know Beaverhead County High School.
