ROBO Call: Public Announcement about Positive Test

On September 24, 2020, Beaverhead County High School was notified that a high school student has tested positive for COVID-19. The positive test was confirmed on September 24, 2020. According to the Beaverhead County Health Department, the District’s staff and students were not in contact with the student during the period of possible exposure. However, the student last worked/learned in person-to-person contact with fellow students/staff at BCHS on Friday September 18, 2020, 5days prior to the student’s positive COVID-19 diagnosis. Since September 18, 2020, the student has not been at the school.  

Beaverhead County High School and Beaverhead County Health are in regular contact to ensure that the high school is taking all precautions to reduce the chance of COVID-19 spread in the school. Please be assured that the safety of your child is our top priority. 

School officials will continue to monitor the situation with the assistance of our local County Public Health Department and will provide further information if and when it becomes available.
